Dry eye is becomming a more common disease entity. Dry eye symptoms can range from mild discomfort to severe debilitating disease. It is a condition in which the eye doesn't produce enough tears to protect it from infection and keep it moist. The goal of treatment is to regain an increase in moisture to the corneal surface.

There are a number of treatment modalities which include artificial tears, anti-inflammatory medicine drops, special medicine drops, tear saver occlusion and vitamin supplements.

Our doctors will perform a dry eye evaluation which will include a careful history and special testing. Once the diagnostic information is obtained, a treatment plan will be initiated to begin returning your eyes to a normal state.
